Hydroseeding - common questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

How much does hydroseeding cost in NZ?
Pricing depends on site size, access and seed mix. Call us with your approximate area and we will give you a free quote the same business day.
How does hydroseeding compare to turf rolls?
For most lawns over ~200 m² hydroseeding is faster to apply, far more affordable, and develops equally strong roots. Turf is best when you need an "instant" lawn for a specific event.
What is the best time of year?
Spring and autumn give the strongest results, but with the right seed mix we hydroseed year-round in the Wellington region.
What aftercare is required?
Mainly keeping the area moist for the first 2-3 weeks. We give you a simple guide and stay in touch if you have questions.
What if germination is uneven?
We guarantee our work. If coverage falls short of what was agreed, we come back and re-seed at no extra cost. Terms and conditions apply.
Do you handle slopes and erosion-prone sites?
Yes - that is one of our specialties. See our erosion control page.
